Hi, I’m Alexander, owner of Knight Bookkeeping, a husband, and a dad to twin boys here in Southern New Hampshire.

Before starting Knight Bookkeeping, I spent more than a decade in operations and client relationships, including running my own retail franchise. I know what it’s like to juggle customers, expenses, and a growing to-do list while trying to figure out how the business is actually doing.

That experience shapes how I approach your books. Behind every number is something happening in your business: a customer who hasn’t paid, an expense that keeps climbing, or work that’s keeping you busy without leaving much profit. I help you understand those connections so you can make informed decisions.

I’m a Certified Intuit ProAdvisor with QuickBooks Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, Intuit Bookkeeping training, and a completed Client Advisory Services Foundations learning path. You’ll work directly with me, with straightforward conversations and support tailored to your business.

A background in running the business

Before starting Knight Bookkeeping, I spent more than a decade in operations and client relationships, including running my own retail franchise. That experience taught me how closely day-to-day decisions, customer relationships, cash, and recordkeeping are connected.

I am a Certified Intuit ProAdvisor with QuickBooks Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, Intuit Bookkeeping training, and a completed Client Advisory Services Foundations learning path. My decade-plus background is in operations and client relationships, not a decade of professional bookkeeping.

How I work

Clear communication, careful follow-through, and understandable reports matter to me. I ask about unfamiliar transactions rather than guessing, define the scope before beginning, and explain when a question belongs with your CPA or another specialist.
